Quality and certifications
One-stop precision sheet metal manufacturing
Quality is measured, not claimed. A precision inspection system compares 40 million measurement points against your CAD in 0.1 seconds per part, and every batch is documented under our ISO 9001 system. Reference customers include TOMRA, TRUMPF, RITTAL, ZIEHL-ABEGG, CAMFIL, VANDERLANDE, MAHLE and WEISS TECHNIK.

How quality is actually controlled
IQC · Incoming inspection
IPQC · In-process patrol
FQC · Final quality check
QE · Quality engineering
Four-level control with CPK ≥ 1.67; standing KPIs are 99.5% batch yield and 100% on-time delivery.
Records, 6S and what ships with the order
Before a unit leaves we check the packing specification, the rust protection, the labels and the documents that travel with the goods. The workshop runs 6S throughout, and the CNC gantry machining area is managed separately for large frames and base plates.
Before dispatch and with the shipment
| Outgoing inspection | Every unit is checked against the work order before dispatch: packaging protection grade, rust prevention, identification labels, the accompanying quality documents and the piece count. |
|---|---|
| 6S on the shop floor | Sort, set in order, shine, standardise, sustain and safety. Material is located by fixed position, zones are clearly marked, and the CNC gantry machining area is managed separately for large frames and base plates. |
| Quality documents we can supply | Material Certificate (MTC), First Article Inspection report (FAI), Dimensional report, Coating report with film thickness, adhesion, colour difference and salt spray results, and a RoHS / REACH compliance report. We do not issue electrical test reports or electrical safety certificates. |
What each inspection gate actually checks
Quality on a sheet metal programme is not one final check — it is four gates, each catching a different class of defect before it can travel further down the line. Naming them is the easy part; what matters to a buyer is what each gate is responsible for, and what happens when it finds something.
The four inspection gates
| IQC — incoming inspection | Coil, sheet and tube are checked against the mill certificate before release: material grade, thickness, flatness and surface condition. The batch identity is logged to the ERP, so any finished part can be traced back to the heat number it was cut from. |
|---|---|
| IPQC — in-process patrol | First-off approval followed by scheduled patrols through laser cutting, punching, bending and welding. The machine setting and the measured result are both recorded; anything outside the drawing tolerance stops the station, not the shipment. |
| FQC — final quality check | Before packing, finished parts and assemblies are measured on the Inspecvision optical vision system, which compares the full surface against your CAD and issues an automatic deviation report instead of a hand-written note. |
| QE — quality engineering | Quality engineering owns the loop that closes: root-cause analysis and corrective action on any nonconformance, process-capability tracking to a CPK target of 1.67, gauge calibration, and the documented procedure that keeps ISO 9001:2015 current. |
What we test, and to what criterion
Five test types sit behind the gates above. Which of them apply to your order is fixed at quotation and stated on the inspection plan — it is not left to be decided on the day of dispatch.
Test types and the criterion each is held to
| Dimensional inspection | ±0.05 mm on all three laser cutting machines, measured on the optical vision system against your CAD rather than sampled by hand. |
|---|---|
| Surface and seam verification | Coating thickness and adhesion, and weld seam quality on fabricated enclosures, carried out before the assembly is closed up. |
| Dimensional sign-off | Measured squareness, cut-out and clearance checks on the assembled unit, checked against the dimensional report supplied with the order. |
| Air-tightness (leak) testing | Pressure-decay testing on sealed enclosures and battery trays to the programme limit — down to ≤ 0.01 Pa·m³/s on EV battery trays. |
| EMI shielding test | Shielding effectiveness measured on high-voltage cabinets; our reference build attenuates 30 dB. |
The paperwork that ships with the parts
The measurement is only half of it. A quality system is really judged by what a customer can still retrieve two years after delivery, so every record is filed against the sales order and kept for the life of the programme.
Records and documents, standard or on request
| Material certificate | Mill certificate for every batch of sheet, coil or extrusion, matched to the parts produced from it. |
|---|---|
| Inspection record | Optical deviation report and dimensional results filed against the sales order and retrievable on request. |
| Certificate of conformity | Declaration of conformity to the drawing and the applicable standard, issued with each shipment. |
| First-article inspection report | Full dimensional first-article report against the complete drawing layout, produced for new parts or after any design change. |
| Electronic quality archive | Every work order carries one QR code: drawing revision, machine, operator, inspection results and photos are stored against it through the ERP and the shop-floor MES. |
What the certifications cover
Two certifications are held. It is worth being precise about their scope rather than showing the logos alone.
Certifications and their scope
| ISO 9001:2015 | Quality management system covering laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, powder coating, assembly and inspection at the Kunshan plant. |
|---|---|
| National High-Tech Enterprise (approved 2024) | National recognition of research and development intensity and technical innovation, re-assessed on a fixed cycle rather than granted once. |

What you get when you order
Three commitments we are judged on by every customer, on every order.
Round-the-clock response
Send drawings at any hour — an engineer replies within one working day, not an automated ticket.
Factory-direct pricing
No trading layer in between. You buy from the plant in Kunshan that actually cuts, bends and welds the parts.
Delivery you can plan around
Committed lead times, serialised inspection records and export packing that survives ocean freight.

What our customers say
Feedback from the procurement and engineering teams we supply.
We moved three enclosure families here in one quarter. The first articles matched our drawings without a second round of tooling, which is rare.
What convinced us was that one plant does both the powder coating and the mechanical assembly. Fewer hand-offs means fewer excuses when a deadline moves.
Documentation is where suppliers usually fall down. Every batch arrives with measurement reports and clears customs without questions.
Capabilities

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
There is no fixed MOQ. Prototypes and small batches from one piece are accepted, and unit prices fall as volume grows. One-off tooling cost is quoted separately.
Can you work from our drawings and keep them confidential?
Yes. We regularly work under NDA and produce strictly to customer drawings. Files stay on an internal server and are never shared with third parties.
How long does production take after the sample is approved?
A first-article sample is typically ready in 7–10 working days, and series production runs in 3–5 weeks depending on quantity and surface finish.
Send your drawings and quantity — an engineer, not a sales script, comes back with a quotation covering material, tooling, surface finish and lead time.
